Dare 2 Share final details

1. All students must have this Waiver from Dare 2 Share’s ministry completed. This is NOT your registration form–it’s their event waiver. You can turn it in ahead of time or just bring it that Friday when we leave.

2. We’re meeting to leave at 5pm sharp Friday, Feb. 3rd. I know it’s a rush getting out of school–but the conference starts at 7! I hate for them to miss too much of it!

3. Please feed your student before dropping them off OR give them a sack dinner to eat in the car. It will spare us a lot of time if we don’t stop to eat. =)

4. Students may bring cell phones, but we will ask them to have phones off/silent for most of the weekend. Please feel free to call me (Laura) at 321.356.7589 if you need to reach your student in an emergency!

The conference is at The Lakeland Center
6. We’re returning around 11pm Saturday night & will call when we get close.

7. Packing list:

Bible & pen
Clothes for Saturday
Jacket or sweatshirt
Toiletries
Deodorant
$5-20 spending money (totally optional for snacks, t-shirts etc. NOT necessary)
Sleeping bag & pillow
Air mattress (optional)
Washcloth/small towel (may not be full showers available
Cell phone (for an outreach experience Saturday – phones should be off most of the trip)
Please do NOT bring:

Earphones for your iPod
Alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs or weapons or any kind

Dare 2 Share Registrations due today!

The Dare 2 Share conference is coming up Feb. 3-4th in Lakeland. This will be a GREAT weekend away for our middle schoolers!! Please consider signing your student up. We only do retreats like this once or twice a year, and is WELL worth the time.

Registration forms turned in tonight with a $25 deposit will reserve your spot for a total cost of $50 (due week of). Late registrations will be $60 total instead. Scholarships are available for people who need it.

High school students wanting Dare 2 Share training may be able to come as well – talk to me if you’re interested.

Paraguay Missions Trip

We’re going to Paraguay next summer to partner with the Sappias and other Alliance missionaries! Students finishing 9th grade & up are eligible to apply. If you’re interested, talk to Laura!

Traveling Turkey Fiesta Reminders!

Students should meet at church at 6:30pm. Pick up will be at the Miller’s house anytime between 9:30 and 10pm. (The Miller’s address is 104 Wessex Road Altamonte Springs 32714 – near Lake Brantley HS)

Livewire’s Turkey Fiesta is Fri. Nov. 18th @ 6:30pm, meeting at NAC & traveling to homes. We’ll finish at the Miller’s house (104 Wessex, Altamonte) at 10pm.
